The app grants access to the comprehensive AirportGuide.com database containing over 50,000 landing facilities. Many features of Airport Guide for Pilots are accessible offline, allowing users to research airports, conduct E6B calculations with various aviation calculators, and browse through the aviation Book Library.

If online, users can utilize the convenient 'Find Nearby Airports' button on the homepage to instantly display the closest airfields based on GPS coordinates. The search results can be filtered easily to show public airports for quick decision-making during flights.

Upon conducting a search, users can mark airports as Favorites for quick access on the homepage, providing essential weather updates (VFR, MVFR, IFR, LIFR) at a glance. Detailed airport information including METAR data, location details, communication frequencies, runway specifics, FBOs, and fuel availability is also available. Additionally, users can rate and review airports to benefit fellow pilots.

The app offers booking links for car rental and accommodation at each airport, ensuring a seamless travel experience. Users can explore nearby attractions and book activities directly via the 'Things To Do' button.

Data Disclosure: The airport database utilized by the app is consistent with the one on AirportGuide.com and undergoes regular updates. New database versions are typically released every four weeks as reflected in the app settings.
